Our Story
Ibabi was founded in 2025 by a team of agricultural experts, technologists, and local farmers who recognized the challenges facing small-scale farmers. We saw how middlemen were taking advantage of farmers and how lack of access to information was limiting productivity.
Starting with just a few villages testing our solutions, we've grown to serve thousands of farmers across multiple regions. Our name "Ibabi" means "Leaf" in Kinyarwanda, reflecting our commitment to creating new possibilities for the agricultural community.
